Whipped Ricotta

This is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Have a restaurant-like experience right in the comfort of your own home, all with just a few simple steps.

Serves 6-8

INGREDIENTS:

  • 16 oz whole milk ricotta

  • 3 tbsp heavy cream

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • ¼ tsp kosher salt

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • Fresh thyme or other herbs, to garnish (optional)

  • Grilled bread to serve

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine ricotta, heavy cream, olive oil, honey and salt. Whisk the mixture vigorously for about 2 minutes using a hand mixer, food processor, blender, or by hand until it achieves a light and fluffy consistency.

  2. When serving, garnish with a drizzle of honey, a touch of olive oil, a sprinkle of flaky salt, and fresh thyme (optional).

    Accompany the dish with grilled bread.
